We went on another excursion with Susie today and enjoyed seeing some ancient streets and a local market. We also learned more about what will happen tomorrow -- adoption day!
We will leave our hotel at 9:30 am and go to Sarah's orphanage. It will take us about an hour to get there. We will meet Sarah, her nanny, and the orphanage director. We hope that we will be able to ask Sarah's nanny several questions about her care, daily routine, etc. I think we will also get to tour the orphanage. After our time at the orphanage, we will go to the place where Sarah was found when she was 6 weeks old. Then we will get to take her home (to the hotel) with us.
We are praying for Sarah as she is about to undergo so many huge transitions in her life. We hope that in the midst of it all, and despite the language barrier, she will know how much we love her!

Scott and Keri, I am so excited! Right now it is 8:50am Sunday. Praying for this evening that the Lord will allow sweet Sarah to be in your arms. That the transition will go well. Know that we are so excited to meet the new addition to the Adam's.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise it was to see you two in church this morning! Your video was awesome and Bob referred back to the things you said several times throughout the service. It brought tears to my eyes. We will be praying for you in our life group tonight, as it will be the time when you're getting ready to meet Sarah. Hope it is a wonderful day!!!
ReplyDeleteYour video was so awesome this morning at church! You would have loved it. Phil invited all the people who have adopted or were adopted to come up on stage. It was hard to fit us all on stage! Then we watched your video. Such a wonderful adoption moment! Thanks for sharing.

I am so anxious to hear about meeting Sarah. I've been praying all day that she will attach quickly to you and Scott. Can't wait to pics of her sweet face!!! Only a few more hours to go!! I wonder if you're even sleeping. :)
